Sony Ericsson has been struggling to get some of its new Xperias out the door, as the nation of Japan recovers from this year’s devastating earthquake. Several such phones, including the Xperia Neo, saw their releases postponed. The Neo, from what we heard, would be coming to the UK sometime this July. More recently, Sony Ericsson Italy tweeted that the phone would be available in mainland Europe the first week in July, reinforcing the earlier estimate. Those guesses may have been slightly too conservative, as some UK retailers are already showing the phone up for sale, ready to ship out tomorrow.
Now sure, unless you have a very reliable postman, and get your order in straight away, chances are you’d still be looking at getting your hands on the phone right at the start of July. Still, there’s a chance you might beat the cutover, and though there haven’t been any spottings yet, since we know the Neo’s around, it could possibly start showing up at retail as soon as tomorrow. You should be able to find one for as low as $525.
