Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc Takes Awesome Low-light Pictures

We’ve already been pleasantly surprised to see the camera on the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc in action with it’s always-on auto-focus but we didn’t know it takes amazing low-light pictures.

Thanks to its Exmor R backlit sensor, the eight-megapixel camera on the Xperia Arc has a high light sensitivity. This means that it captures images in lower light conditions than other cameras with considerably less noise. The Exmor R technology is used by Sony on many of it’s current mid to high range camcorders and cameras and now it has a mobile implementation too. Check out the samples below and let us know of your thoughts (for more pictures as well as original dimensions follow the source link)!
