Russian site Gagadget has leaked several photos and a video of the upcoming Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc — likely the Anzu/X12 — a handset we expected to debut at next month’s MWC but which may actually be revealed at CES (possibly as soon as this afternoon). According to the site, the 4.2-inch Arc is a Gingerbread-powered device with single-core 1GHz Qualcomm processor, 480 x 854 resolution, and an eight-megapixel camera with HD video capture — plus HDMI for output.

Apparently the handset measures only 8.7 millimeters at its thinnest point, although it obviously gets thicker at the top and bottom. Overall the build quality looks much more solid than the Anzu preview we saw, so this one may turn out to be a winner (even more so with a cooked Android kernel).
