The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc was launched with the occasion of this year’s CES in Las Vegas and is expected to hit the market in Q1 2011 with Japanese NTT DoCoMo already unveiling it as part of its line-up.
Turns out that the system of the Arc has been dumped — that didn’t take long for the folks over at XDA Developers — and the brand new Launcher has been extracted. The Unofficial Xperia X10 Blog reports that the Home Launcher is working as it should on the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10.
Just a little bit more sluggish than on the Xperia Arc and Xperia Neo, it does indeed work and so does the pinch-to-zoom functionality for the widgets. Alongside the Home Launcher, the Photo, Clock and News widgets are also running well on the X10 according to reports. For a set of instructions on how to get them working, check out the Via link.
