We’ve seen a rather comprehensive demo of the camera on the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc, showing off both the hardware and the software capabilities and features of the upcoming Android smartphone.
Below are two HD videos captured using the Xperia Arc and they are demonstrating the continuous auto-focus feature of the smartphone’s camera. While the auto-focus isn’t as fast as the one you’ll find on a dedicated camcorder, it definitely does a great job compared to most smartphones out there that don’t even feature automatic variable focus while shooting video. The colors appear to be naturally reproduced and the sound is much better compared to what other smartphones are capturing while recording video.
