The sexy Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc might have a cousin — if not a twin — and it’s called Xperia Acro. It appears in Sony Ericsson’s PC Companion software in Japan and looks to be just a little bit thicker than the Arc.
Xperia Blog reports that with Acro’s 1GHz Snapdragon processor and 4.2-inch display plus the 8.1-megapixel Exmor R camera, the smartphone might as well be an Arc with NFC support, the obligatory TV Tuner and infrared which seems to be more popular in Japan than Bluetooth. There are two versions spotted, a GSM and a CMDA version and they will allegedly hit the market around the end of Q2 for NTT DoCoMo and KDDI.
