The upcoming Sony Ericsson SK17i Xperia Mango has been behaving very movie star-like recently with all the pictures of it surfacing on the Internet. We’re being offered several other snapshots with the Xperia X10 Mini Pro successor and it’s looking good!
With some many sightings we tend to believe that there’s a launch coming real soon. Allegedly, a Sony Ericsson employee at the company’s Shenzhen factory is confirming a 1GHz processor operating the unit, a Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8650, versus the MSM7230 we’ve been hearing for a while now. We’ll just have to wait for official wording on that.
On the other hand, it will allegedly also sport a five-megapixel camera with auto-focus and 720p HD video recording capability, 3-inch-ish HVGA (320 x 480) display and Android 2.3 Gingerbread, all of which we were already suspecting. Other rumors imply a capacity of 512MB for the RAM and of 1GB for ROM as well as a May 2011 availability. That isn’t too far so we’ll just have to wait for more and more information about this baby to pop up.
