Sony Ericsson’s smartphones have a way of sneaking up on us. The Walkman-branded W8 arrived without a peep a couple months back, and the latest to sneak onto the scene looks to be the WT19i and WT19a Androids.
The WT19 phones make their presence known through the existence of User Agent Profiles stored on SE’s site. While the information revealed in these type of files doesn’t give us a complete picture of a phone, it can provide a starting point when no other data is available. For the WT19, we can learn that the phone will arrive running Android 2.3 Gingerbread on a Cortex-A8 processor.
Look for the WT19 to feature an HVGA 320 x 480 display, like we’re used to seeing in Sony Ericsson Walkman Androids. Beyond that, we’ll have to wait for SE to release (intentionally or not) a little more information about the phone. Knowing the company, though, it might just dump the WT19 on the market without another word first.
