Sony Ericsson’s 2011 Android line-up is growing fast as the manufacturer just added the Xperia Ray and Active to the already popular Xperia Play, Arc, Pro and Neo phones. It appears that the company is working on releasing another handset codenamed MT11a (and its MT11i variant), as we learn from user agent profiles.
The two Android phones will run version 2.3 Gingerbread and will sport FWVGA screens with resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. Judging by the model number, we’re looking at full touch-screen phones with no hardware QWERTY keyboard. The processor operating the phone will be a single-core Cortex A8 which will probably be clocking at 1GHz, though the CPU can be scaled from 600MHz to 1GHz.
Reading more into the codename, aside from the full-touch form-factor we can guess that while the MT11i will be an international model, the MT11a will most likely end up on the American continent. So far, no more details are known but we’re still expecting that beast of Xperia Duo.
