Last week, a listing published by the Bluetooth SIG appeared to reveal the presence of a new Sony Ericsson smartphone. There was speculation at the time that the product, referred to as the eDream 6, would be the Sony Ericsson LT28at. We’re no longer sure what to make of the eDream, but a new Bluetooth SIG entry for what’s unquestionably the LT28at has arrived, and it’s got some additional hardware specs to share with us.
Earlier in the month, some benchmark results revealed a 1.5GHz processor for the LT28at. We also had heard that the smartphone would feature a 720p display, but hadn’t been told just how large it might be. Today’s find identifies that screen as a 4.55-inch component.
It looks like the LT28at could be quite the imaging powerhouse, with a thirteen-megapixel backside-illuminated sensor for its main camera, along with a 720p-capable front-facer. Check out the photo above for evidence of the camera’s chops; the original’s EXIF data revealed its LT28at source.
Finally, this Bluetooth information confirms plans to bring the LT28at to North America. This is despite the mention of TD-SCDMA, which by itself would suggest an ultimate destination in China.
