Sony Ericsson has started to roll out the Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread update to the Xperia Arc in Europe yesterday — at least according to reports coming in from Italy and the U.K. — and it looks like they will have to wait at least four months for the next platform refresh.

Sony Ericsson Italy allegedly handed out information according to which the Xperia line-up will get its Android 2.3.4 update in October. The new version of the platform will bring features like video chat in Google Talk, an updated Voice Search, the latest version of Google Books and more.
