Sony Ericsson made its customers very happy once the company announced that it will bring all of its handsets in the 2011 Xperia-line to the Android Ice Cream Sandwich party. There were rumors of a January release and then those implying March but the thing is the update process is not that easy we’d like it to be.
In order to get the latest version of Android on the handsets out in user hands, Sony Ericsson has to go through a couple of steps necessary. They were kind enough to outline the process which you might find long but the posting says that the “summary of all the activities and phases is somewhat simplified and is meant to provide a general picture”. If you’re interested in behind-the-scenes details of the process, hit up the source link for an interesting read.
