Aside from the Sony Xperia Ion on AT&T and the Sony Xperia S, Sony also announced the Xperia NX and Xperia acro HD at CES. Though we’ve heard that all mobile devices announced will wear the Sony-only branding, the two new devices destined for Japan are still branded Sony Ericsson.
The Xperia NX is the Japanese variant of the Xperia S, with the 4.3 inch LCD “Reality Display”, Qualcomm MSM8260 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and twelve-megapixel camera. The Xperia acro HD will also share similar specs, like the 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 4.3-inch HD display and a twelve-megapixel camera, but with added Japan-market specific goodies like IrDA port, NFC mobile wallet and TV tuner.
