After earlier updating the iPhone iteration of SlingPlayer Mobile to support video out, Sling Media Inc. has updated the Android version of the popular application to support improved video quality.
Apparently, the new version supports high quality video streams via either 3G or WiFi from your Slingbox SOLO or PRO-HD. This way you can watch anything on your Android smartphone that you would else enjoy on your TV. There’s a fix for T-Mobile customers that had problems connecting over data as well as one for Motorola Atrix users. Current version is 1.2, it weighs 7.4M and will cost you $29.99.
