ZTE is a Chinese phone manufacturer that we don’t talk much about because their phones don’t tend to impress. Save for the Skate, announced at Mobile World Congress. The phone is “inspired by a skate board”, according to the company. It features a 4.3″ display (resolution unknown, though we’re going to guess WVGA) and is running on Android 2.3. For power, it’s using an unknown 800MHz CPU with the last-generation Adreno 200 GPU. The camera on the back shoots photos at 5MP. Looking at the cellular bands, it doesn’t look like the Skate is going to land in the US, despite ZTE’s intentions to make inroads in America this year. Overall, what we have here is a nice-looking device that seizes to look nice once you look under the hood.
