NenaMark’s aggregated results page features a certain Ayame smartphone. Checking out the phone-specific page it turns out that the phone is made by Sony Ericsson, the model is called “Ayame” and it sports a 1.4GHz GHZ Snapdragon single-core CPU, Qualcomm Adreno 205 GPU and runs Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread. It has an 854×480 resolution screen and scored almost 47 points in NenaMark.
On another note, recent rumors talk about a certain Sony Ericsson “Nozomi”, a phone which will allegedly hit the Japanese market in the last quarter of the year. The Nozomi too will sport a 1.4GHz single-core Snapdragon MSM8655T chipset with its Adreno 205 GPU to help crunch the frames. There are two interesting things to note: first there’s an alleged 4.3-inch display with 1280×720 pixel resolution and second, it will purportedly sport a microSIM card slot a la iPhone 4.
The screen, if the math is done properly, will allegedly offer a higher DPI number (341.54) than the iPhone 4′s Retina display (329.65). Of course, such a high resolution on a relatively small screen is a strange choice but we’ll have to wait and see if the rumors turn out to be true.
