Apple is going to make its iPhone 4S available in stores two days from now, on October 14. Pre-orders sold well and according to Apple numbers, more than 1 million units were purchased in the first 24 hours.
The battle between Apple and Samsung has moved back to the market after lots of episodes in various courts around the world. According to reports, Samsung has set up a store just next to Apple’s own store in Sydney. The temporary shop offers the flagship Galaxy S II for just $2
unlocked and without a contract for the first 10 people in line each day. The line is already longer than the one waiting for Apple’s next phone to be available. Competition at its finest?…
Update: Our reader Haze points out in the comments that those people not lucky enough to be among the first ten will still be able to buy the phones at a hugely discounted price.
