The Samsung Galaxy S was a solid and popular phone but the Korean manufacturer managed to do an excellent job with the follow up. More than 30 million of those two devices combined have been sold to date according to Samsung.
The last year’s model is still available and still a great option. It managed to sell in 20 million units since its launch in 2010 but the popularity is huge when it comes to the S II. Since its introduction at this year’s MWC, it sold more than 10 million units, bumping the combined numbers to more than 30 million. Great achievement from the Korean manufacturer and we must not forget that the Galaxy S III rumors are piling up as CES and MWC are approaching.
