If you thought the 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display on the Samsung Galaxy S II was rather large, brace yourselves, as rumors circulate around the Korean manufacturer preparing a phone that will make the line between smartphones and tablets even thinner. Will this be the smallest tablet or the largest smartphone?
Allegedly called the Samsung Galaxy Q, it will purportedly feature an enormous 5.3-inch display, which is .3 inches larger than the screen on the Dell Streak. As with the SGS2, the Galaxy Q will also sport a Super AMOLED Plus display according to rumors and Samsung is allegedly preparing to show the phone off at this September’s IFA in Berlin, 2 to 7 September 2011. Of course, there will be Google’s Android on-board to power this beast but no other details are yet known. When is a smartphone screen too large?
