Samsung’s SoC line includes lots of Exynos chips (like the 4212 at 1.5Ghz and the 2GHz dual-core 5250) but the first quad-core SoC based on the A15 architecture appears be the upcoming Exynos 5450.
With no Samsung Galaxy S III in sight for MWC the eyes are on Samsung’s rumored 11.6-inch tablet that will feature an Exynos 5250 dual-core processor clocking at 2GHz. However, PhoneArena also mentions the yet unannounced Exynos 5450 SoC which will be a 2GHz chip with four cores. According to the report, it is likely that we’ll see this chip powering tablets rather than smartphones (as it is “probably be way over the top for a phone”).
