T-Mobile’s variant of the Samsung Galaxy S II is available online since last week and it appears that the Qualcomm chip inside it does a really great job even compared to the models shipping with the manufacturer’s own Exynos SoC.
On the software side, going to the Samsung Open Source Release Center and searching for the string SGH-T989 will return a ROM. The manufacturer posted the system for anyone who wants to take a look under the hood. Some developers will start doing their usual tear-down of the software and we can see some nice improvements to custom ROMs. If you’re curious, hit up the source link and check it out yourself!
