The Samsung Replenish will be a “green” smartphone coming to Sprint early next week and the Korean manufacturer already made the source public ahead of the smartphone’s availability.
With the source out, ROM Chefs and enthusiasts can dismantle, take a look inside, extract, rebuild and release customs ROMs and stand-alone packages just in time for when the Replenish will be physically out. While the specs are modest — packing a 600Mhz CPU, 2.8-inch QVGA screen, two-megapixel camera and a QWERTY keyboard — the smartphone is both “green” — recycled plastics — and cheap, going for around $50 on a contract.
