Regardless if you are a fan of Samsung’s own UI, TouchWiz, or not, the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Galaxy S II has it bundled, but there’s more to the update than just the same old TouchWiz.
Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is, as of last week, at the core of the Galaxy S II and TouchWiz is just there to make it prettier (well, in this case, a little bit more ugly according to some users who prefer the stock ICS launcher). The goodies, like enhanced speed and performance, new web browser with tabs, the new typeface, etc. are still there, if you look closely under the Samsung skin.
The South Korean manufacturer released an Ice Cream Sandwich Guide for Customers in order to get you all prepped for the refresh. You’ll find all the new stuff listed as well as their appropriate descriptions so that you don’t miss a beat and continue where you left off with Gingerbread. Find it at the source link below!
