Google recently gave Android users the opportunity to score some great deals on apps, offering ten a day for a mere ten cents a piece. Ten cents is nearly as good as free, but we can’t deny that free is even better. If you’ve got the right Samsung phone, you may be able to score a whole mess of free apps, thanks to a new promotion.
The bad news is that not every Samsung Android makes the cut, and that includes the Galaxy Nexus (along with the Nexus S). We don’t have a complete list of what models are and aren’t part of the promotion (not helped any by the leaked chart’s “and more” notice), but we’ve heard that tablets are definitely out.
If you have a Galaxy S II, Galaxy S, Galaxy Note, or any of the other supported models, you’ll have access to up to sixteen games for free. In order to take advantage of this promotion, your Samsung phone will need to have the Samsung Apps app installed. Then you’ll be able to download these titles for free until the deal ends in two month’s time. The selection of available titles may not be all to your liking, but hopefully you’ll be able to find at least a couple in there that strike your fancy.
