Call this the day all “the rest of us” were waiting for. The text behind the label may not be that visible to many, but that Samsung GT-I9020A stands for none other than the Samsung’s Google Nexus S with some AT&T flavor to it. Just as with the Nexus One, this just means the phone will sport the 850 / 1900 UMTS bands that will give you 3G connectivity for AT&T. Now, given its an unlocked phone, this also means it’ll give you 3G speeds in most, if not all of the rest of the Latin American countries also. All the rest of the specs of the Nexus S we recently reviewed remain the same, so lets hope the FCC hurries up and shares the love with the rest of us.
