Back at the end of August we’ve heard that Samsung was preparing its own messaging solution which it will launch in October. The offering is called ChatOn and is, as of now, available in the Android Market for free.

ChatOn is a global mobile communication service that which is cross-platform, offering support for Android, bada, Samsung feature phones, with iOS, and Blackberry OS support coming soon. With ChatOn you’ll be able to make one-on-one chats, group chats, broadcasts, and send animation messages, pictures, videos, audio, location info, contacts, and calendar entries. If you’re a Samsung fan or you feel the need for another messaging alternative, grab the application from the Android Market.
