The Samsung GT-S5830 — aka Samsung Galaxy Ace, Samsung Galaxy Cooper or the alleged Samsung Galaxy S Mini — has just received its Global Certification Forum approval today
As far as the radio on the handset is concerned, it features a quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE as well as dualband UMTS/HSDPA at 850/2100 MHz (which could indicate some U.S. compatibility). Other than that, the rumored specs are referring to Google Android 2.2 Froyo with Samsung’s own TouchWiz 3.0 UX on top, an 800Mhz processor as well as a 3.5-inch HVGA (320 x 480) display, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, DLNA support, five-megapixel camera with auto-focus and LED flash.
With its GCF approval, we’re quite sure the smartphone will be at the Mobile World Congress but we’re yet to find out if it really is the Galaxy Mini (or is the Samsung S5570 the Galaxy Mini).
