Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 WiFi Hardware Review (Video)

Brandon Miniman | January 23, 2012 8:26 PM

Previously we unboxed the slim, light, and gorgeous Galaxy Tab 7.7. The Tab 7.7 is unique among the Galaxy Tab line in that it uses a Super AMOLED Plus panel, which means you get those same fantastic blacks and bright colors on the Tab 7.7 that you do on the Galaxy Note and Galaxy S II.

In terms of hardware, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 is super thin at just 7.9mm, which, as a frame of reference, is actually thinner than the Galaxy S II. The build quality feels fantastic, thanks to some real brushed metal used on the back. While we thought metal would be more resistant to scratches than plastic, perhaps that’s not the case because our review unit already has a small scratch in it after a few days of careful use.
