The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 was, at the moment of its announcement back in February, the first Ice Cream Sandwich-powered device coming from the South Korean manufacturer. We met the tablet while we were at MWC in Barcelona and now, as promised, you can grab one yourself.
It goes for $249.99 and you get a 1GHz dual-core processor, seven-inch WSVGA (600×1024) PLS TFT display, three-megapixel fixed focus main camera with no flash, VGA webcam, 1GB of RAM, 8GB internal memory (with microSD expansion slot), 4,000mAh battery and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on-board, on top of which Samsung fitted TouchWiz/Samsung L!ve Panel UX. Grab one if you are looking for a medium-specc’d affordable tablet with a friendly form-factor.
