Specs of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S2 have been spotted in what looks to be an article that shouldn’t have gone public ahead of time over on a Korean website. The article also contained a picture of the device which was then taken down.
According to the info leaked, the Samsung Galaxy S2 will sport a 1GHz dual-core processor, 4.3-inch display, HSPA+ Radio, WiFi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 and will be powered by Google’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread mobile operating system. The Galaxy S2 would weigh 116gr and allegedly measure 8.49mm in thickness — which would take the World’s Thinnest Smartphone title away from the LG Optimus Black which measures 9.2mm in thickness.
Samsung Hub managed to grab a high resolution picture of the device, a press render if you will, before it got pulled and shows a front facing camera on the top left, near the speaker grill. The device looks to me more angled than its predecessor but the button layout on the bottom looks familiar.
