After officially announcing the two phones at the end of last month — and later on confirming the Ice Cream Sandwich update for “early 2012″ — AT&T has made the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket and the HTC Vivid available for purchase online.
As a reminder, the Skyrocket tops the AT&T Galaxy S II in terms of screen size and processing power by featuring a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus screen and an upgraded 1.5GHz dual-core processor. The camera is one of eight megapixels and the front facer is of two-megapixels up-front, while there’s 16GB of flash storage on-board. The phone goes for $249.99 with a two-year contract.
The HTC Vivid (ex-Holiday) has a 4.5-inch screen too, but this time with qHD resolution. Inside there’s a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, eight-megapixel main camera, and 16GB of internal storage. You’ll pay $199.99 for the phone given you sign a two-year agreement.
