At the end of February we reported that the Samsung Galaxy S II was on pre-order with Clove and it should have been available the second half of March. Now that it’s gone, Clove is expecting it to hit stock in May.
Launched with the occasion of this year’s Mobile World Congress mid-February, the Samsung Galaxy S II will sport either an Exynos or a Tegra 2 Chip, 4.27-inch WVGA Super AMOLED Plus display, eight-megapixel camera with 1080p video capture plus a two-megapixel front-facing webcam.
Good thing is the 16GB version dropped to £528.00 (around $859.6) which still makes it an expensive phone but at least it’s somewhat lower than the pre-order price in February of $988. Nothing changed related to the 32GB model, pre-order prices still remain valid with the note that the official price and availability is yet to be confirmed.
