There should be no doubt in anyone’s mind that the Samsung Galaxy S II is the Android smartphone of the moment. We rated it a 5 out of 5 in our review and the feedback from the market seems to be very good, at least according to sales numbers.
Beating its own record, Samsung has managed to sell more than three million Galaxy S II smartphones in 55 days. That’s a rough daily average of close to 50,000 and according to the manufacturer, Europe has a great role in that. The next bridge Sammy wants to cross is breaking the 10 million record of its own Galaxy S which could happen more easily if the U.S. carrier variants would finally arrive on the shelves.
