Samsung Galaxy S II Breaks Five Million Sales Record in Korea

The Samsung Galaxy S II was introduced at last year’s MWC in Barcelona which makes the phone almost a year old. It was crowned the king of Android smartphones for a long period of time and the phone is still, one year later, able to break some records.
Samsung unveiled that the sales (to channels and distributors) of the Galaxy S II on its home, South Korean market, surpassed five million units. This was achieved just nine months after the phone was available on its home turf and, hopefully, one month before Samsung is expected to unveil the follow-up, the anticipated, the rumored Samsung Galaxy S III.
