With Samsung’s latest flagship we get new video-recording capability, plus an improved 8MP camera sensor. Below is video from the Samsung Galaxy S II shot at 1080p resolution with maximum quality turned on, both outdoors and indoors. As you can see, the video is pretty crisp and clear, but the framerate doesn’t seem to be stellar in the first video. Also, the camera has some issues focusing on objects far away. However in the second video, where we do some close-up shooting, the subjects looked crisp and clear with well saturated color.
Below are some samples taken with the 8MP camera. The photo quality is quite outstanding, especially indoors. Click on any image for the original.
