We’re not sure this has anything to do with the upcoming Mobile World Congress but Samsung has been recently granted trademarks for the following phones: Galaxy Rite, Galaxy Heir, Galaxy Awaken, and Galaxy Axiom.
All of the above have a couple of things in common: they’re smartphones (as per the USPTO documents) and fall in the Galaxy line. According to Samsung’s naming convention (with letters Y, M, W, R and S, from lower-end to high-end) we could identify the Rite as an “R” (Royal, premium) handset, the Heir as a “W” (high-tier) device but the Awaken and the Axiom don’t seem to fit any of the categories. We’re inclined to believe these phones will be part of the post-MWC line-up (where the Galaxy S III is expected to launch) but we’ll be paying Samsung a visit just in case.
