Bell started carrying the Samsung-made Google Galaxy Nexus at the beginning of December last year going for $159.95 with a new three-year contract. Those who purchased the device are now receiving an over-the-air update notification on their phones.
The update refers to a platform refresh which is bumping Android version number to 4.0.2 Ice Cream Sandwich. Android 4.0.3 brings some camera improvements alongside other goodies; Android 4.0.4 has been unofficially available on Verizon Galaxy Nexus phones; recently we’ve heard about Android 4.0.5 thanks to French carrier SFR. However, if you’re on Bell, check for an update on your Galaxy Nexus is you haven’t already received a notification.
