Vodafone UK will soon be offering the recently-announced Samsung Galaxy mini, according to the source of these images. No specific release date was given, although it will almost certainly be free on 15-pound-and-higher monthly contracts.
Technically a part of Samsung’s Mobile World Congress device portfolio, the Galaxy mini was launched in late January along with a trio of other entry- and mid-range handsets; with its 3.14-inch QVGA screen and 600MHz processor, the mini was the lowest-spec’ed of these phones. Samsung’s marketing copy has the compact mini targeting first-time smartphone buyers, especially children and teens who want to get started with Android.
