Samsung Mobile Cnada has just made poste on its Facebook page — dubbed wth an email confirmation to MobileSyrup — that it’s temporarily suspending the Android 2.2 Froyo update for the Bell Vibrant Galaxy S variant.
The update has started to roll our last week but there were several users reporting that after applying the update, they ended up with nice and expensive bricks, according to the same source. Now Samsung is suspending the update while investigations are conducted and hopefully fix what needs to be repaired. While this is only reported to affect the Vibrant, Telus Fascinate and Rogers Captivate Galaxy S variants should meet Froyo as scheduled.
