Earlier today we looked at an alternate battery cover for the HTC Thunderbolt on Verizon, letting the phone recharge wirelessly, Palm-Pre-style, when paired with an inductive charging pad. We already knew the LG Revolution was going to end up getting a similar accessory, and now one’s shown up for yet another Verizon phone, the upcoming Samsung Droid Charge.

It really looks like Verizon is going all-in with these inductive charge adapters, and there’s the real potential to see adapters for many of the carrier’s future smartphones. Fulton Innovation showed off some of these at the MWC this year, and presumably is behind this new wave of Verizon accessories. Considering the initial cost of the charging pad, it’s good to see this popping up for so many Verizon models; if your next phone will also support inductive charging, you’d certainly be more likely to make the investment now.

While the Thunderbolt’s cover is listing on Verizon’s site for $40, the Droid Charge model that a tipster spotted in a retail location is $10 less at $40. Inductive charging may be cool, but unless it’s also cheap, it could be a hard sell for some users. The fact that we’re already seeing price fluctuations in a downward direction seems like a very good sign.
