The Samsung Galaxy S II — which we have recently unboxed and showed you its hardware in our tour — is not even well out yet and is already claiming some very nice figures with more than 200,000 units pre-ordered in Korea in the week prior to its launch, followed by sales of more than 120,000 in three days on the domestic market.
Yesterday Samsung announced even bolder numbers as the Korean smartphone manufacturer claims network operators worldwide have already pre-ordered more than 3 million units of the Samsung Galaxy S II. This number accounts for one of the highest figures in Samsung’s history in terms of new smartphone pre-orders and the Galaxy S II is well on its way to becoming the best ever selling smartphone of the Korean manufacturer, ever. Still a long way to go but initial feedback is good for the Super AMOLED Plus beast that packs a 1.2GHz dual-core CPU with 1GB of RAM.
