It’s hard to believe that time has passed by so quickly, but two years ago this past December, a little outfit called Rovio released its initial version of Angry Birds for the iPhone. In the months and years that have followed, we’ve seen new additions to the Angry Birds family, bringing with them new levels, and regularly delivered to the hundreds of millions of users who have downloaded the app. For the two-year anniversary of the game’s initial release, Rovio gave iOS users a special treat with the Birdday Party update in December. Now it’s time for Android fans to join in on the festivities, with the update just hitting the Android Market.
It wouldn’t be an Angry Birds release without some new levels, so Rovio’s cooked-up fifteen new courses for your birds. That’s just pretty run-of-the-mill, so to make this update a special occasion (after all, it’s where the game crosses the 300 level mark), Rovio’s unlocking all episodes from the get-go. Add in some new graphics and menu designs, as well as the orange bird from Seasons, and it sounds like a pretty nice birthday treat.
Angry Birds 2.0.2 is available in the Android Market now.
