Whether 3D is a gimmick or a novelty which will soon become a standard is yet unknown as it is too early to say but it’s definitely the selling point of the HTC EVO 3D and the LG Optimus 3D. They’re both their respective manufacturer’s sole 3D phones and, as fresh as they get, they will be coming exclusively to Rogers Canada.
The carrier has just introduced both the HTC EVO 3D and the LG Optimus 3D and will make a microsite available for customers to pre-order either one of the two (existing Rogers customers can now reserve their HTC EVO 3D or LG Optimus 3D on the Rogers Reservation System until July 23rd).
The HTC EVO 3D sports a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 4.3-inch qHD display, dual five-megapixel stereoscopic cameras and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The LG Optimus 3D is powered by a 1GHz dual-core TI OMAP processor, has 512MB of RAM, 4.3-inch WVGA display, dual five-megapixel stereoscopic cameras and Android 2.2 Froyo (with Gingerbread update coming soon).
