Just as Best Buy was secretly keeping the Sprint HTC EVO 3D pre-order announcement to itself, discouraging employees from doing anything to promote this pre-order, RadioShack is joining the game for pre-orders which reportedly start today, May 17.

There is no actual release date for the 3D smartphone and it looks like neither Best Buy nor RadioShack know anything about when it will be available. Sprint might (or might not) know but until then, customers who purchase a $50 RadioShack Gift Card can have an HTC EVO 3D reserved for them, effective today. When they will receive it is another question.
