Less than a week, that’s how much you have to wait until the Samsung Unpacked event in London on May three where the Next Galaxy will be unveiled. We’ve already seen pictures of alleged prototypes hiding behind a dummy case but today’s picture seems to be more unveiling.
Whether this is the upcoming Galaxy S III or not is anyone’s guess. However, PhoneArena’s tipster strongly believes that this is the real deal, this time without its dummy shell. What do we have here? A widescreen (tall) display in what appears to be a Nexus S/Galaxy Nexus-like rounded case but what’s really interesting is that there are the classic capacitive buttons at the bottom, to the left and right of the hardware home button (rumors implied there were no buttons aside from the physical home button). Oh, and that button seems to be backlit, opposed to the one on the Galaxy S II.
However, today’s picture is almost identical to the alleged render we’ve recently seen in the leaked service manual. We don’t have an edge-to-edge screen but the bezel is definitely thin, which is always a great addition. Everything else regarding the looks is up to you to decide (now that we more or less know of the internals).
