Sony Ericsson’s PlayStation Suite, as we heard at the end of January, will be able to deliver PlayStation content to Android devices as well as new titles developed for the platform.
nVidia and Sony announced that PlayStation games will be available for Tegra powered smartphones — which at this particular moment are the Motorola Atrix 4G, LG Optimus 2X and the 9003 variant of the Samsung Galaxy S II, with hopefully more coming this year. PlayStation games will not only be available outside the platform for the first time but Sony also plans on bringing several PlayStation 2 titles to the PlayStation Suite.
Similar to Microsoft making available Xbox Live titles for Windows Phone 7, Sony Ericsson is enlarging its user pool (especially the gamers) by outing games to other brands of smartphones later this year, with the Tegra SOC being the common denominator.
