Back in February, shortly before Samsung’s Galaxy Note launched on AT&T in the states, we looked at a leak showing a new pink color option for the jumbo-sized smartphone. At the time, the information accompanying the leaked pic suggested that the pink Note was nearly here, and should have been released before the end of last month. Obviously, that hasn’t come to pass, but Samsung is now finally showing-off the new Note in public, along with offering a few teases about its release.
At the annual CeBIT expo in Germany, Samsung has a demo version of the pink Note up for display. Though non-functional, this unit gives us our best look yet at how the pink Note will appear; this is no halfway coloring effort, left with a big black bezel, but a top-to-bottom full makeover in pink. Presumably, there will be accessories like the snap-on folding cover to match.
As for when the pink Note will arrive, we don’t have an official answer any more specific than sometime before May, and that’s technically only concerning its availability in Germany; presumably we’d see it in other European countries around the same time, but we’re still not sure what the fate of the pink Note will be for the US market.
