A picture of a so far unseen Motorola handset (resembling the Defy though) has surfaced on the Internet and, while we don’t really have any other information in this regard, our cited source’s tipster claims “it’s the first of two “iPhone killer” Olympus Tegra 2 smartphones from Motorola”. If the Q1 2011 rumored time frame is close to the reality, it should be about time when some leaks started popping up on the Internet. What say you? Olympus or not? Maybe an LG Star competitor?
Update: DroidDog’s tipster says that while the picture resembles the Olympus, the device in fact is referenced internally as the Etna and is most likely not a dual-core device but will allegedly be rather running a single processor clocked at 2GHz. While we’d be glad to see a 2GHz processor coming anytime soon, to our best knowledge, there is no such clocking on mobile processors and thus the rumor is likely just an over-excitement over (maybe?) a dual core 1GHz Tegra 2.
