After this spring’s news about PayPal coming soon for app purchases from Android Market besides iPhone App Store we recently heard that PayPal is in the talks with Google to bring its payment and billing services to Android for Google’s Market purchases.
According to recent rumors, the two companies reached an agreement which will enable PayPal’s services to be used for Android Market purchases starting later on this month. Even more TheStreet’s Scott Moritz reported “sources familiar with the situation say the deal is all but sealed, with an announcement coming as early as Oct. 26 during the PayPal developers’ conference in San Francisco”. PayPal’s having the upper hand here with its services available in more than 200 countries over Google’s Checkout who’s currently reaching out to under a quarter of PayPal’s. Will this boost Android Market sales? Are you a person who always wanted to buy an app from the Market, you couldn’t and you will be able to using PayPal?
