A month ago we posted about the Pantech IM-A690S Android device, the unannounced, Korea-bound handset but at that moment it was not certain whether this device exists or what Pantech’s plans are in terms of availability and pricing.
Looks like the mystery device is now official and is headed towards Korean carrier Sky next week. The Pantech IM-A690S is running Android 2.2 Froyo Smartphone and sports a 3.5-inch WVGA AMOLED display, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, a 5-megapixel camera with auto-focus and LED flash, WiFi, A-GPS and T-DMB TV tuner, all powered by an 1350mAh battery weighing 116 gr.
